Update, despite the fear of the white box

How many times this week have I clicked the lovely little "new post" button, eager to spill my innards to you once again, only to find myself staring at this empty white box with nothing to put in it?
(Trick question. A million is the answer.)
But today I'm determined to post for you. It was on my list yesterday [1] and I didn't get to it, so I figured, why not before school?
So lately, I've started school. Back to the old familiar grindstone, as it were, as I'm taking Calculus and Physics at the high school. Calculus is annoying, because it blends two classes from last year, one of which was honors. I was in the honors one, so we're still reviewing at three weeks into the school year.
Physics makes up for it, though. We have a good workload, and always interesting concepts to think of. Our teacher makes no effort to have us like him, but we do all the same, because he's funny and brilliant and entirely unapologetic for his character. Yesterday we were talking about falling, and vectors, and speed, and he made me an example. I played the role of the one who shot the AK-47, and a classmate was the one who fell from a height. He asked us where I would have to aim to shoot him in the heart. It was, as Physics always is, interesting.
My English and Latin classes started last week, as I take them from an online school which doesn't start until after Labor Day. English looks to be a great deal of fun, as we're studying modern literature in gigantic doses. As for Latin, we're translating the Aeneid. Just... yes. Should be challenging.
Have a good day! I'll be writing a few more posts, and scheduling them to go up throughout the week, so that'll be good.
Yours,
Carrie
[1] Actually, I'm making this into another post. I finally have ideas! Yay! You should be excited, eager, and a little scared.
